5 Reasons to buy art to make a real estate sale

I’ve been recently helping some clients dress their walls with beautiful art. To say that art transforms the entire room is an understatement. Art buyers tend to purchase for their homes, and enjoy keeping the visual experience for themselves. But properties that are for sale often get overlooked when it comes to hanging quality art on the walls. All too often i’ll see a luxury villa listed on the market, and it’s walls are bare, or worse, covered in tasteless prints from etsy. Which has compelled me to write this piece for anyone hoping to sell a home, and hasn’t given thought to what’s on their walls of their premium asset:

1. First Impressions Count:

Art transforms the property’s entrance, setting an exclusive tone for potential buyers to imagine the space as their own. Pick something stylish that sums up the property’s top attributes.

2. Art as Subtle Marketing:

Exclusive artworks subtly invite buyers to see the property as a sophisticated canvas for their unique tastes and collections. They can imagine adding onto the exquisitely curated collection.

3. Boosting Imagination and Perceptions:

Artful additions highlight the property’s potential, emphasising architectural features and design possibilities for a personalised touch. This is the opportunity to highlight the special and unique qualities of your property.

4. Raising Perceived Value:

Well-placed art enhances the perceived value of luxury real estate, reflecting a refined lifestyle and fostering positive connections between buyers and sellers. Original art says a thousand words about the quality of the home.

5. Let Art Do the Talking:

In the exciting journey of selling your property, let art be your silent ally, creating an atmosphere that speaks volumes, so you don’t have to. Who knew selling could be this much fun?
